David Muhlbock

Cinematographer, Editor, Writer

Film has been my passion longer than I can even remember, I remember talking about  wanting to be a actor/director as early as the 1st grade. I learned how to draw by creating storyboards for sports and action movies I wanted to make.

I started making home movies at 15 after consistently begging my  father to get a camcorder, easily spending 12 hours at a time at the  family computer to see what I could accomplish with my footage.

I studied masters like Stanley Kubrick, Martin Scorsese, David Lynch, Steven Spielberg, Akira Kurosawa and Andrei Tarkovsky as much as I could in order to glean any insights so I could forge my  own path and  create the movies I could only dream about. I remain in awe of the power of cinema and it's ability to inspire.

I Joined the army in 2009 for 4 years as a combat cameraman to pursue this dream, where I gained experience in digital photography, cinematography, and video editing.
